Where the River Slows You Down: Kayova River Lodge
A photo-led look at Kayova’s shaded grounds, chalets, safari tents, river outings and dining.
The approach to Kayova River Lodge leads into shade. Trees frame the entrance, paths cross the grounds, and the Okavango River sets the pace beyond them. This is a place to arrive, put down your bags and let the day open up.

A room for the way you travel
There are eight chalets and nine Meru safari tents in the operator’s September 2026 fact sheet. The chalets include double and twin rooms; the tents add furnished patios where the surrounding garden and river views become part of the stay. Ask reservations which layout suits your group and is available for your dates.

Follow the water
From the lodge, guests can ask about morning or afternoon boat cruises, fishing and nature walks. On the river, a different view of the banks appears with every bend. Back at the lodge, the pools and shaded grounds make it easy to slow down between outings. Activities are optional and may need advance arrangements.

Settle in for the evening
Kayova has a restaurant and bar, with indoor and outdoor seating. A meal after time on the water, then the changing light over the river, gives the day a natural close. Its two pools offer another way to spend an unhurried afternoon.
