Who operates NamSpace

Information we use

When you choose Google or passwordless email sign-in, Supabase supplies a verified account identifier, email and optional display name. ChatGPT sign-in remains available for earlier accounts. NamSpace stores that account information, accepted-notice timestamp and an optional phone number. A saved phone number is not automatically verified.

We store submitted property information, listing photos, listing revisions, availability history, saves, rental requirements, enquiries, messages, reports and moderation records. Do not submit ID numbers, income, employer information or private documents through these flows.

Public and private information

Approved listing details and photos are public. Seeker contact information, messages and rental requests are private in this release. Only conversation participants can read their threads; authorised moderation review is restricted to reported threads. Account identifiers and contact details are not included in public listing responses.

Why we use it

To provide accounts, publish approved rentals, support enquiries, keep availability current, investigate reports and maintain service integrity. We do not use private conversations for advertising targeting or sell identifiable seeker data.

Search and service measurements

We record coarse search criteria, budget bands, result counts and listing views without an account ID in those analytics records. Operational actions such as enquiries remain linked to accounts where required to provide the service. Campaign codes may be saved with submitted records. Free-text searches, phone numbers, email addresses and exact residential addresses are excluded from analytics events.

Storage and service providers

OpenAI Sites supplies hosting, its Cloudflare-backed database and object storage hold the application records and photos, and Supabase supplies Google and passwordless email authentication. Processing may occur outside Namibia. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and email open other services and their policies apply there.

Browser storage

Unsubmitted form drafts are kept in the current browser tab when storage is available, expire after 24 hours and are cleared when you use NamSpace’s sign-out link. Browser session restoration can preserve a tab, so use sign-out and clear drafts on shared devices. Earlier device drafts are moved into tab storage when reopened. Submitted records are stored on the server. Sign-in sessions are managed by the selected authentication provider and retained in browser storage until sign-out or expiry. NamSpace does not add advertising cookies or a third-party marketing pixel.

Retention and deletion

Active account records support the ongoing service. Listing price and availability history is retained for continuity and market analysis; private account data is not published in those analyses. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion. We may retain limited evidence needed to investigate an open dispute or meet an applicable obligation; we will explain any such retention when responding. A formal retention schedule and automated deletion process remain to be finalised.

Payments and identity evidence

Paid products and ID/selfie uploads are unavailable. NamSpace does not store card data, collect rental deposits or accept verification documents in this release. This notice will be updated before those services open.

Security and your choices

Server-side ownership checks restrict private records. Cloudflare encrypts D1 database records and R2 photo objects at rest with provider-managed keys. HTTPS protects browser connections. This is not end-to-end encryption: authorised application processing and restricted moderation can access the data needed to operate the service. Photos remain behind listing-status and account access checks until approved. Administrative changes and storage checks are logged; application error diagnostics omit raw submitted content. No online service can promise absolute security. Protect your account, avoid unnecessary sensitive content, and contact us if something appears wrong.
